MUST Ministries, Offering Christmas Shopping for Underprivileged Cobb Families, Needs Your Help
The ministry is asking Acworth residents to donate gifts to ensure that every child in the county has a merry Christmas.

MUST Ministries is getting ready to open its Cobb County toy store to benefit local families in need over the Christmas season, but is seeking donations of blankets, warm clothing, toys, games, dolls, and other goodies to ensure the shelves are full for all.
East Cobber magazine reports that donations will be accepted at MUST Ministries’ Cobb County donation center located at 55 Chastain Rd. in Kennesaw between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. The magazine says that MUST is the only group in Cobb County donating gifts to babies and teenagers, and asks that Cobb Christmas shoppers remember their less fortunate neighbors when they go shopping. It’s estimated that 3,000 children in Cobb and Cherokee counties will use MUST Ministries for their Christmas gifts this year.
MUST is looking for items appealing to elementary, middle, and high school aged kids such as jewelry, perfume, stuffed animals, trucks, ethnically diverse dolls, jackets, boots, watches, handheld games, purses, and books and games in Spanish.

For babies, MUST is asking that teams of Cobb residents donate an open cardboard box covered in wrapping paper and filled with at least seven baby necessities like diapers, bottles, pacifiers, sippy cups, and onesies.
Cobb County’s iteration of the MUST Toy Shop will be open for 14 days in December at Piedmont Church, located at 570 Piedmont Rd. in East Cobb. Families who register with MUST will be able to receive donated items at no cost at the toy store.
