2 Women Attacked In 'Targeted' Home Invasion In Milton
Milton police say the incident was reported early Tuesday at a home on Hickory Pass.

MILTON, GA — Detectives in Milton are investigating a home invasion where two women were attacked early Tuesday.
Officers with the Milton Police Department were dispatched to a home on Hickory Pass near the Cherokee County border around 3:18 a.m. July 10.
A preliminary investigation indicates this home "was specifically targeted by the suspect or suspects, and not a random incident," the city of Milton said. Officers arrived to find one victim had been physically assaulted by an intruder.

"During the altercation, the suspect demanded specific items from the victim," Milton police said.

An adult female victim was treated and released at North Fulton Regional Hospital, and a second adult female victim also sustained a minor injury during the incident.
This is the second violent home invasion in as many weeks in the Alpharetta-Milton area. On June 23, two grandmothers and a woman in her 20s were all zip-tied on their living room floor at their Glen Abbey home in Alpharetta while two men ransacked their home and took jewelry and $86,000 in cash.
