45-Pound Tortoise Goes Missing in Milton

MILTON, GA -- A giant land tortoise has been reported missing in the Milton area.

Dudley, who clocks in at 450 pounds, escaped from his yard Tuesday afternoon after lunchtime near the intersection of Hopewell and Redd roads, Alpharetta Animal Hospital posed on its Facebook page.

Anyone who sees the tortoise is asked to call the facility at 770-475-7613. Return to Patch for updates.
