Alpharetta Bank Robbery Suspect Remains at Large

The FBI Atlanta Field Office says the same man is behind another bank robbery in Tifton.

ALPHARETTA, GA -- The FBI Atlanta Field Office is asking the public to help them identify the man responsible for a bank robbery in north Fulton and another in south Georgia.

The first robbery was reported around 3:43 p.m. Oct. 19 when a male entered Chase Bank at 4170 Old Milton Parkway in Alpharetta, presented a demand note and "announced a robbery," the agency said.

After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the man left the bank without further incident.

Nearly a month later at around 1:15 p.m. Nov. 9, the same man entered SunTrust Bank at 200 John Howard Way in Tifton and presented a note declaring a robbery.

The man obtained an undisclosed amount of money and left the south Georgia bank. The FBI notes the same man was observed inside the same bank in Tifton the day prior to the Nov. 8 robbery.

The suspect is described as a white male between 25 and 35 years old. He's about 5 foot, 10 inches to 6 feet tall, has a thin build and brown hair.
