Beach Announces Resignation From Greater North Fulton Chamber
State Senator Brandon Beach will resign as president and CEO, effective Jan. 1 2018.

ALPHARETTA, GA -- Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce President & CEO Brandon Beach has announced he will resign from the post at the end of 2017. Beach, who also serves as a state senator, will be "pursuing" a new role as executive director of the North Fulton Community Improvement District, the chamber said Thursday in a news release.
In this new full-time opportunity, Beach will be able to tailor his passion to improve infrastructure and transportation in the community while serving as state senator for District 21, which encompass eastern Cherokee County and the cities of Alpharetta and Milton (SIGN UP: Get Patch's Daily Newsletter and Real Time News Alerts. “I would like to thank all of our members, community partners, staff, the executive board and countless others for all of your support over the years," Beach said in a statement. "It has been my greatest honor and joy to serve the people of North Fulton. I look forward to continuing to serve the people of this region both with the CID and the Senate. Resigning from the Chamber was a difficult decision, but one that I feel is best for me personally and for the community, as I will have more time to dedicate to these two areas. I want to continue to build upon the work we have done at the Chamber over the years in improving the economic prosperity and quality of life in North Fulton.”
Beach has served as president and CEO of the chamber for 15 years. Roger Lusby, chair of the chamber's Board of Directors, added the organization has been grateful for Beach's work and leadership over the last 15 years.

"His focus on jobs, transportation and growth has created a dynamic Chamber and we wish him well at his new position with the North Fulton CID," Lusby added.
Kerry Armstrong, North Fulton CID board chair, notes that group is also excited about the next step for the chamber as well as the CID. The Greater North Fulton Chamber will begin a national search to replace Beach, who will carry out his current duties through Jan. 1, 2018.
