• Alpharetta City Council To Consider Proposed Hockey Arena, Mixed-Use Development (patch.com) — Alpharetta residents could see North Point Mall transformed into a massive sports and entertainment district, including a proposed 20,000-seat hockey arena that might attract an NHL team. City Council will hold a public hearing at Alpharetta City Hall to consider rezoning for the project, which also features hotels, offices, retail, housing, parks, and a community hockey rink.
