Bring One For The Chipper Set For Jan 6 In Milton

The city will take part in the statewide 27th annual campaign to recycle Christmas trees on Saturday, Jan. 6.

MILTON, GA — The city of Milton will offer an opportunity for you to recycle your live Christmas trees. The city's Bring One for the Chipper event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 6.

Residents can drop off undecorated trees at the one-day collection site held at Milton High School. Please note that flocked (snowed) trees will not be accepted at this location.

If you do not want to wait until after the New Year to dump your tree, you can visit Scottsdale Farms Garden Center from Dec. 26 to Jan. 5 to recycle one's tree. The farm is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday (closed on New Year's Day) and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday. No flocked trees will be accepted, and the farm will accept the trees through Jan. 5.
