Why are you seeking elective office?

Milton needs a council person representing them who has been entrenched in the community and has grown with them. My family and I have been here for over 10 years and I believe in that my values align with Milton's values. We need to preserve our land and balance growth. We need to keep our taxes low and protect our senior citizens. And we need to further develop the connectivity of our community with the investment in sidewalks and trails. I am seeking council for no other agenda than the love of Milton, and I hope you vote for me because you feel the same.

The single most pressing issue facing our (board, district, etc.) is _______, and this is what I intend to do about it.

The most pressing issue facing our City is future land use. I intend to collaborate with our council and our citizens to protect our land and fight sewer expansion to preserve Milton's rural character.

What are the critical differences between you and the other candidates seeking this post?

The biggest difference is what I have accomplished while living in Milton for over a decade. I have 10+ years of community service in this area working with a dozen philanthropies, impacting the future generations of Milton through Girl Scouts and National Charity League, and volunteering with our public schools.

What accomplishments in your past would you cite as evidence you can handle this job?

Have you ever started your own business? It's the most amazing roller coaster ride with ups and downs, setbacks and successes, and many life lessons. But you keep moving forward and you learn to work harder and smarter. My experience with building a small business in Milton has given me

What do you like best about living in your city (or county)?

My family and I enjoy the people of this community, their values and devotion to this community and their love of Milton. The core values of this community set the tone for all of the decisions we make to balance growth and protect what we love. We have been blessed to know so many great families in Milton over the last 10 years.

The best advice ever shared with me was:

"Lead with integrity, be your authentic self and always speak from your heart". Staying true to these words have helped me not only in my career, but with my family and life, as well.

What else would you like voters to know about yourself and your positions?

I am a woman of faith, a wife of 15 years, a mother to 3 daughters, an active community leader and a Milton small business owner. We have called Milton our home for over a decade and I would be humbled to lead this community for the next 4 years on City Council.
