They also say Woods, who has a history of violence, has ties to Atlanta, north Fulton and Indiana. Numerous law enforcement agencies, including the U.S. Marshals Service, are currently looking for Woods.

Alpharetta police began its investigation into the shooting death on Jan. 28, 2013, and quickly identified the suspects responsible in the incident, Woods and Jerad Owens.

Both suspects were, arrested, charged and placed into custody, but they both were released on bond as the trial approached.

The murder trial started last week and prosecutors discovered Woods allegedly tampered with a witness for the state’s case. Prosecutors requested the judge to revoke Woods’ bond, and the defendant’s attorney requested a recess to speak with his client about the new revelation.

While the court adjourned for 30 minutes to allow the lawyer to speak with his client, Woods “abruptly walked out of the Fulton County courthouse leaving his attorney,” Alpharetta police said.

The trial continued, and Woods was convicted on two counts each of felony murder, aggravated assault, armed robbery and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon in connection to the 2013 shooting death of 22-year-old Rose, who lived in Canton.

He was sentenced to life in prison following the conviction. Woods, 25, is described as a black man who is 6 feet tall and weighs between 160 and 170 pounds.

Anyone who knows Woods’s location is asked not to approach, but to contact 911 or the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety’s case detective at 678-297-6322 or the tip line at 678-297-6307.
