Elderly Alpharetta Man Dies in Fatal Accident

Police are looking for the driver of a white Ford Mustang, who they say may have witnessed an accident that took the life of an elderly man.

The Roswell Police Department is asking the public to help them track down the driver of a vehicle who may have witnessed an accident that killed an elderly Alpharetta man.

Officers with the agency on Sunday responded to a two-vehicle accident along S.R. 9/Alpharetta Highway in front of North Fulton Hospital, Roswell police said in a press release.

The incident resulted in the death of Richard Rosen, 87, of Alpharetta.

Roswell police spokesperson Lisa Holland said detectives are looking for anyone who may have information about who was behind the wheel of a white Ford Mustang GT.

The car, which police say possibly has the body style of model years ranging from 2005 to 2009, also has tinted windows and a Georgia license plate bearing a Cobb County sticker.

“We are interested in identifying and speaking with the driver of the Mustang who witnessed a traffic accident,” Holland said.

She added the Mustang was possibly racing with the driver of a black BMW along the northbound lanes of Alpharetta Highway from Holcomb Bridge Road to just north of Hembree Road between 12:30 p.m. and 12:40 p.m.
