FBI Looking For Alpharetta Bank Robbery Suspect

The man went to Wells Fargo on Highway 9 and presented a note to the teller demanding money.

ALPHARETTA, GA -- The FBI's Atlanta Field Office is asking residents to help them identify a man accused of robbing two banks in metro Atlanta.

At around 2:45 p.m. June 3, a male suspect walked into Wells Fargo at 12830 Highway 9 in Alpharetta and "presented a demand note to the victim teller announcing a robbery," the agency said.

The robber left the bank with an undisclosed amount of money without incident.

On June 22 at around 2:30 p.m., the suspect ventured into Bank of North Georgia at 4128 Highway 278 in Covington and presented another demand note to the teller, the FBI states. The suspect left the bank without incident and with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The suspect is described as a black male between 40 and 45 years old, between 5'10'' and 6' in height, has a medium build and mustache, and was captured on camera wearing a light blue T-shirt, ball cap and sunglasses.
