Gameday Giveback To Benefit Children's Healthcare Of Atlanta

Avalon is teaming up with Children's Healthcare of Atlanta to host the Gameday Giveback during SEC Championship on Saturday.

ALPHARETTA, GA — Another festive weekend is on the schedule at Avalon.

Gameday Giveback

From 3-8 p.m. on Saturday, spirited football enthusiasts are invited to don their team colors for Avalon’s inaugural Gameday Giveback. The live viewing party for the SEC Championship will benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta and feature tailgate games, themed food and beverage offerings, and raffle prizes, including an Avalon experience package.

All proceeds from the raffle tickets will be donated to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

The event will be hosted in front of The Cape Restaurant and Beach Bar, which will be serving specialty cocktails throughout the game.

This event is free to attend, and guests are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets. Outside coolers are not permitted.

Jingle Jog

From 9 to 11 a.m. on Sunday, The Hotel at Avalon is hosting a 1-mile fun run with Santa along the Boulevard.

Jingle Jog is open to children 17 and under. Registration is $25 per participant with parental guardian included in cost, with all proceeds benefiting The Summit Counseling Center, and opens at 8 a.m.

Start times will be staggered:

  • 9 a.m. – ages 10 to 17
  • 9:10 a.m. – ages 6 to 9
  • 9:20 a.m. – ages 5 and under

Runners are encouraged to dress in their best holiday gear.
