A Great Day For Fulton Science Academy

Fulton Science Academy this week moved into its state of the art new campus.

One of Georgia’s finest schools, Fulton Science Academy Private School held it’s ribbon cutting ceremony for the opening of it’s state of the art new campus yesterday.

The program was well attended by many state officials and legislators. State Superintendent Richard Woods, Senator John Albers, Board of Education Member Lisa Kinnemore, GISA President Jeck Jeffson, the world’s tallest living man Sultan Kosen, and NBA player Enes Kanter were among the many important guests who attended the ceremony.

Enes Kanter invited all the students to attend the next Atlanta Hawks game as his guests.

Fulton Science Academy’s new campus covers a 20 acre site. It comprises 35 classrooms, STEM laboratories, technology labs, a state of the art media center, gymnasium and a field.

Fulton Science Academy serves advanced and gifted students in Pre-K through 8th grade. The school opened 3 years ago with 101 students and now serves 365 students.

Fulton Science Academy represented Georgia in four national and two international events last year. One of FSA’s latest achievements was winning the 2015 Dupont Team Enterprise Award in the 2015 National Science Olympiad Competition.
