• Alpharetta Students Petition Use Of Flock Cameras On Campus: Report (patch.com) — Students at Alpharetta High School are pushing back against Flock security cameras installed at school entrances, arguing the constant surveillance harms privacy and creates anxiety. Their Change.org petition challenges a Fulton County Schools program that placed cameras at more than 100 campuses, while district police leaders maintain the technology improves safety and aids investigations.
   

• 4-Pack Ticket Giveaway to Georgia Aquarium (macaronikid.com) — A Georgia family can win four tickets to the Georgia Aquarium, with their child serving as a Macaroni KID JR Reporter whose write-up will be featured on the Alpharetta edition's site. Families must enter the drawing online between September 1 and 10, then be able to visit the aquarium by December 31 if selected.
