According to the company’s response to questions on an Oct. 6 post on its Facebook page, everyone employed at Harry’s has been offered a position with the Avalon store, ”so the same familiar faces will be a part of the in-store experience at Avalon.”

“So they’ll be bringing 26 years of hospitality to the plate at the new location,” the company added.

The Avalon store, which will sit at 2800 Old Milton Parkway, will open to shoppers on Tuesday, Oct. 14. This is the eighth Atlanta-area location and the tenth store in the state, according to the company’s press release.

According to Roots in Alpharetta, Harry’s opened in Alpharetta in October 1987 and is named after musician and businessman Harry Blazer. While Whole Foods acquired the Alpharetta store in 2001, the company decided to leave the store’s name in place.
