Installing a Distribution Box for a System in Alpharetta
In Alpharetta, Action Septic Tank Service added this distribution box to a septic system.
The distribution box, or D-box, is located between the septic tank and the drainfield. Its purpose is to evenly distribute the effluent to the drainfield.
The effluent leaves the septic tank and travels through the inlet pipe to the D-box. The wastewater is then dispersed from the D-box through the outlet pipe that leads to the drainfield. Equal distribution helps to prevent septic system overloading and failure.
