When crews arrived on the scene, they found Milton resident Leslie G. Ivey, 28, unconscious and being treated be emergency medical personnel.
Ivey was transported to North Fulton Hospital where he was pronounced dead, the agency said.
The investigation led by detectives determined Williams allegedly injected Ivey “with a lethal dose of heroin, and then prevented others from summoning help when the victim began to show signs of distress,” Milton police said.
Williams was arrested by Milton police Dec. 4 and charged with felony murder and interfering with calls for emergency assistance.
He remains held at the Fulton County Jail.
