Milton Historical Society Documentary To Chronicle Pandemic

The Milton Historical Society is creating a document about life during the 2020 pandemic, and is now seeking photos from residents.

MILTON, GA — The Milton Historical Society has been busy since March 2020 conducting Zoom interviews with local residents about life during the 2020 pandemic. These recordings will be featured in an upcoming documentary film called "Milton Memoirs" and will be preserved in the archives of the Milton Historical Society.

“2020 will be one for the books," President of the Milton Historical Society Jeff Dufresne said. As a historical society, we wanted to document in real time how COVID-19 impacted members of our local community. We believe we succeeded in capturing the resilience of our citizens during this unique time.”

The Society recorded poignant stories from students, teachers, newcomers, long-time residents, business leaders, and public servants. Local citizens shared their personal stories and reflections for the benefit of future generations.
