Milton Woman And Her Rescue Horse Win National Championship
Joy Lim Nakrin and Enduring Honor took top prizes in a national competition held in South Carolina.

AIKEN, S.C. — A Milton resident and her steed have recently become national champions.
Joy Lim Nakrin and her rescue horse, Enduring Honor, are winners in the 2022 Thoroughbred Incentive Program championship. The invitation-only event took place in Aiken, South Carolina.
Nakrin won the Adult Amateur Rider High Score Award while Enduring Honor accumulated the highest points of any Thoroughbred Aftercare Alliance Program adoptee in any of the contest's hunter divisions, said Betty King, Nakrin's aunt.

“This brings me so much hope for the future for rescues," Nakrin said in a news release. "It just shows that when given the right opportunities and care, rescues can hang with the best. They absolutely deserve a second chance."
Nakrin operates alongside King a Milton farm, Joyous Acres, where the two adopt animals and care for them.
