Police: Men Caught on Camera Burglarizing Alpharetta Apartment
Before committing their crimes, police say the suspects would knock on doors to determine which units were occupied.
The Alpharetta Department of Public Safety is asking residents to help them identify two men who they say were caught on camera burglarizing an apartment unit.
Police officers with the agency were recently called to investigate an incident at the ALARA North Point-Alpharetta apartment complex on Jamerson Pass. Department spokesperson George Gordon said evidence from the investigation shows two or more men would allegedly canvass the complex, knocking on doors to see which units were occupied.
“If they discovered an apartment was occupied, they would apologize and state they had the wrong apartment,” he said. “The suspects would look for unoccupied apartments and then attempt to commit property thefts by unlawfully entering the apartment.”
