Report: Teen Says He is 'Adolf,' Threatens To Kill Synagogue Members
A 15-year-old boy is facing charges of making terroristic threats to a synagogue in Alpharetta.

A teenager has been charged with threatening to kill members of an Alpharetta synagogue earlier this month.
Alpharetta police on Feb. 9 arrested a 15-year-old juvenile and charged him with one count of making terroristic threats and acts, according to the Alpharetta Department of Public Safety. According to an incident report released by the agency, an officer was dispatched to Congregation Gesher L’Torah on Kimball Bridge Road and met with an employee of the school.

The woman said she received a call around 5:25 p.m. Feb. 4 from a man who informed her his friend ”said obnoxious things” in a voice message left on office’s system. According to the report, the man told the woman to delete and not listen to the message.
The employee went to into an office at the school and checked the system to see if a voicemail had been left on the phone.

When she checked the phone’s voicemail to listen to the message, she alerted her boss, who called Alpharetta police. The officer said the message appeared to have been delivered by a man between the age of 18 and 30 years old.
According to the report, the message allegedly left on the voicemail is as follows:
Hey, my name is Adolf and I was looking to come into your congregation. I got a call from you guys earlier that you wanted a few furnaces installed...hum [sic], I have those too. I have XL furnaces, which will fit about 45 of you in and I have medium furnaces which only fit about 20. I need a call back to see how many people you have there, so I know how many to bring down. Um, I also do have chambers if you need them; we have tear gas, we got mustard gas and nova gas...we got it all. So, am [sic] going to need you to call me back so I know what to use on y’all...by the way, y’all are dirty [expletive] roaches and I will murder all of you...bye.
Staff members said they placed the building — which had between 40 and 45 children and 10 staff members inside at the time of the incident — on lockdown after they received the call. The students were subsequently released to their parents.
Detectives were able to trace the mobile number belonging to a resident in nearby Cumming. The investigator confronted the parents and teenager about the incident. The juvenile allegedly said he and his friends “were making prank phone calls and were responsible for the call to the synagogue,” the report states.
The teen also allegedly said leaving the message was “stupid,” that he did not mean to do it, that ”he is not a bad person and was not going to carry out the things he stated in the message,” according to the report.
An attorney representing the synagogue informed the police department it wanted to pursue charges. The 15-year-old was charged with the incident and released to his mother.
The case will be handled in the Fulton County Juvenile Court system.
