The Fulton County Department of Health and Wellness conducted food service inspections Jan. 17-24 at the following establishments:

- Observed a bag of spinach mix and several tomatoes within the prep top cooler, located within the main kitchen, that had a black discoloration to them and appeared to be rotting. Food must be safe, unadulterated, and honestly presented.
- Observed the concentration of the bucket chlorine sanitizer at 0 ppm. The chlorine sanitizing solution must meet a concentration of 50-100 ppm.
- Observed failure to store cooked bacon from the previous day within a cooling unit. Except when packaging food using a reduced oxygen packaging method, and except as specified in paragraphs 4 and 5 of this subsection, refrigerated, ready-to-eat, time/temperature control for safety food prepared and held in a food establishment for more than 24 hours must be clearly marked to indicate the date or day by which the food shall be consumed on the premises, sold, or discarded, when held at a temperature of 41°F (5°C) or below for a maximum of 7 days. The day of preparation shall be counted as Day 1.
- Observed various containers of pasta sauces not date marked within the walk in cooler, located within the main kitchen. Time/temperature control for safety foods must be clearly marked to indicate the date or day by which food items must be consumed.
- Observed a container of popcorn on the floor next to a bottle of Clorox bleach in the bar area. Poisonous or toxic materials must be stored so they cannot contaminate food, equipment, utensils, linens, and single-service and single-use articles by separating the poisonous or toxic materials by spacing or partitioning.
- Observed bottled drinks on the floor next to a bottle label corrosive in the bar area. Poisonous or toxic materials must be stored so they cannot contaminate food, equipment, utensils, linens, and single-service and single-use articles by separating the poisonous or toxic materials by spacing or partitioning.
- Observed several containers of food not labeled with the common name. Food packaged in a food service establishment, must be labeled. Advised PIC to label the containers of all food items prepared within the facility.
- Observed no thermometers located within the walk-in cooler and several reach in coolers throughout the facility. In a mechanically refrigerated unit, a temperature measuring device must be conspicuously located to measure the air temperature in the warmest part of a mechanically refrigerated unit.
- Observed wiping cloths, stored on a prep top table within the front food service area of the facility. Cloths in-use for wiping counters and other equipment surfaces must be held between uses in a chemical sanitizer solution.
- Observed failure of the facility to post its most current inspection report. The most current inspection report must be prominently displayed in public view at all times, within 15 feet of the front or primary public door and between five feet and seven feet from the floor and in an area where it can be read at a distance of one foot away. Food service establishments with drive-thru windows must post the current inspection report, and also have the inspection report posted so that a minimum of the top one-third of a copy of the current inspection report is visible through each window allowing customers to easily read the score, date of inspection and establishment information.
- Observed failure of the facility to post its most current food service permit. The food service permit must be posted in a location in the food service establishment that is conspicuous to consumers.
- Observed employee food items within a reach in cooler, at the front food service counter, beside food items prepared for sale. Lockers or other suitable facilities must be located in a designated room or area where contamination of food, equipment, utensils, linens and single-service and single-use articles cannot occur. PIC removed employee food items.
- A follow-up inspection will be held Jan. 30.
