Suspect Involved in Milton Home Invasion Arrested in Texas

Octavius Scott 22, of Houston, Texas, was taken into custody Dec. 11 by U.S. Marshals agents.

United States Marshals agents have arrested a Texas man who Milton police say was involved in an August home invasion in its jurisdiction.

According to a press release from the Milton Police Department, agents on Dec. 11 nabbed Octavius Scott, 22, of Houston, Texas, in his hometown. Police say Scott was wanted in connection to an Aug. 18 home invasion in the city of Milton.

The victim told police Scott allegedly entered her home, tied her to a chair and went through her home, taking electronics, jewelry and money.

Milton police believe Scott is the leader of a home invasion ring that allegedly targeted residents of Asian or Middle Eastern descent.

Scott is currently being held in Texas and is also wanted in connection to home invasions in Michigan, New Jersey, New York, and Texas, Milton police said.
