  • 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 20 at Milton City Hall (13000 Deerfield Parkway)
  • 10 a.m. Saturday, May 30 at Milton City Hall
  • 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 10 at the Alpharetta Courthouse in Crabapple (12624 Broadwell Road)

At these meetings, Donald Broussard of Town Planning & Design will lead discussion and public input on the concept and process of creating subdivisions where units are planned to preserve more greenspace than current zoning allows.

The meetings will follow resident discussion organically, said Planning Commission Chairman Peyton Jamison. They have a loose schedule and guidelines, but what’s most important, he said, is a “healthy dialogue about the city’s intention and process.”

“If you have an opinion on the future growth in Milton, then by all means please stop by these meetings,” Jamison added. “We absolutely want to hear from everyone interested in their community.”

The conservation subdivision, which sets aside an amount of land for preservation, is one of many options among Milton’s growing list of conservation and lifestyle initiatives.
