ā¢ Americus celebrates Georgia Cities Week (americustimesrecorder.com) ā Americus wrapped up Georgia Cities Week with free, city-sponsored events like Lucky Night Bingo Bash and City Connect Day at Rees Park, drawing more than 100 residents. City staff are now asking locals to share 250 short stories about what Americus means to them, using a simple three-question survey that will inspire a new community art project later this year.
