• Foul play ruled out in drowning of 19-year-old Darian Taylor at Lake Blackshear (walb.com) — Cordele’s Crisp County sheriff is pushing back on social media rumors after confirming no foul play is suspected in 19-year-old Darian Taylor’s drowning at Lake Blackshear. Nearly 30 first responders and a Sumter County dive team helped recover Taylor, and investigators are still asking eyewitnesses from the lake to come forward as records will later be available through Georgia’s open records process.
