1. Crash Traps Car Beneath Clarke Co. School Bus Carrying Students (patch.com) — Morning drivers near the Athens Perimeter by Jefferson Road saw major delays after a Clarke County school bus carrying students ended up with a car trapped beneath it. Athens-Clarke County firefighters used specialized towing equipment to free the wedged vehicle, and while the cause remains unknown, officials reported no injuries among students and all lanes have since reopened.

Athens in Motion Unveils Updated Street Safety Plan (flagpole.com) — Athens-Clarke County is weighing an updated Athens in Motion plan that targets 16 key corridors for safer walking and biking, including Baxter Street, Barnett Shoals, College Station, and Prince Avenue.
