10 Can’t-Miss Events In GA Before Winter Ends

The 2026 events calendar in Georgia is springing to life as winter makes its final push.

Two home teams will battle it out on the baseball field when Georgia Tech takes on Georgia State University in Atlanta.

The 40-day Lenten season began with Ash Wednesday, and fish fry feeds fill the calendar on Fridays for the rest of February through March.

Both Cathedral of Christ the King and The Catholic Church of the Transfiguration are holding fish fries, but Ebenezer Baptist Church will host weekly prayer calls. The North Georgia Conference of The United Methodist Church will sponsor a guided walk.
