5 New Restaurants To Know In Metro Atlanta

GEORGIA — Whether you want Italian or Mexican, or perhaps have a taste for a healthy salad, metro Atlanta has welcomed five new restaurants to serve diverse food tastes.
See this list of new restaurants in the area, all with their own identities in metro Atlanta's culinary landscape.
Buckhead Village said, "Hola," Wednesday to new Mexican eatery Pachengo's.
According to a news release, Pachengo's opened at 3065 Peachtree Road NE, suite B210, which formerly housed Storico Vino.

The renovated restaurant, which seats indoor and outdoor seating, is owned by Pietro Gianni and Stephen Peterson. The duo also owns YEPPA&co Bar e Ristorante, Storico Fresco, Forza Storico and Dryver Bar.
“Most of our cooks and bartenders are from Central and South America, so Pachengo’s is a way to get them involved and give our longtime staff members the opportunity to share the food they know and love,” Gianni said in the release. “We’re offering all-day dining that is full service but less formal than our other restaurants, which we felt would be attractive to nearby offices and Buckhead Village shoppers.”

Mexico City-born chefs Omar and Guadalupe Santamaria oversee the menu at Pachengo's. Jose Pereiro is the director of beverages, which include margaritas, palomas and mezcalitas. Non-alcoholic options are available.
Dishes include enchiladas suizas, mole, various avocado dips and queso con chorizo. A rotating family-style meal is also featured.
"Pachengo’s will add breakfast dishes such as huevos rancheros, breakfast tacos and chilaquiles on the weekends," read the release.
Hours of operation: 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
Special hours of operation: 5-10 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday and closed Sunday before reopening Monday at normal hours.
The Original ChopShop found a new home in Cumberland.
The restaurant's second Georgia location opened on Aug. 9 at 2980 Cobb Pkwy. SE, suite 208.
“We're excited to continue the growth of our footprint in Georgia and open the doors to our second shop in Atlanta,” CEO Jason Morgan said in a news release. “Our first Atlanta opening in Buckhead was embraced by the community with overwhelmingly positive responses about our feel good food and the uniqueness of our brand and concept. We look forward to making it even more convenient and easy for guests to access affordable, better-for-you meals at our new Cumberland shop.”
The Original ChopShop serves breakfast, snacks, lunch and dinner.
Menu items include various grilled protein bowls, sandwiches, superfruit bowls, teriyaki chicken, parfaits, juices, avocado toast, protein shakes, a cheat day wrap and sweet soy sesame steak.
"There is something for Every/Body on the menu, from steak to tofu and everything in between and all items are fully customizable to meet any dietary need," read the release.
Customers can download the Chops loyalty app for ordering and curbside service.
Hours of operation: 7 a.m.-9 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 7 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday.
Snellville, sports restaurant and bar Miller's Ale House is now in your town.
The first location this year opened on July 31 at 1486 Scenic Highway. According to a news release, owners are also planning to open a Miller's Ale House in Sharpsburg and Fayetteville this year.
Miller's Ale House has current establishments in Alpharetta, Dawsonville, Kennesaw and McDonough.
“Our newest location in Snellville is conveniently situated among other major tenants in a destination area with great visibility on Scenic Highway,” Chief Data Officer Byron Chandler said in a news release. “As we look to open new restaurants this year, we see great growth potential in the Atlanta-area and plan to add two additional locations in Sharpsburg and Fayetteville by the end of the year. We look forward to introducing our scratch-made dishes to area residents and adding to our Raving Fans Club.”
Miller's Ale House dishes out burgers, sandwiches, flatbreads, pastas, steaks, seafood, soups, salads and other items.
According to the release, the eatery is best known for its Zingers, which are buttermilk-drenched, hand-breaded chicken tenders that are accompanied by one of 17 sauces.
More than 60 televisions are featured in the 7,202-square-foot space. Indoor and outdoor seating are available.
Hours of operation: 11 a.m.-11 p.m. daily.
Cumming residents can find Mexican street food at newly opened Rreal Tacos.
The Cumming site sits at The Collection at Forsyth, 410 Peachtree Pkwy. It is unknown when the restaurant officially opened.
The growing eatery recently expanded into Chamblee and Sandy Springs and already had locations in Midtown and West Midtown.
Construction on a Lawrenceville location was slated to start in July with owners looking to open the upcoming restaurant in early 2024, according to a recent news release.
“Spanning an impressive 5,000 square feet, our Cumming establishment is our largest location to date, doubling the size of our largest operation thus far,” co-owner Miguel Hernandez said in a news release.
Rreal Tacos serves molletes, elotes, various types of tacos, tortas, burritos, tostadas, quesadillas, quesabirrias, nachos and desserts.
Reservations are accepted via OpenTable.
Hours of operation were not immediately available.
Southern Italian eatery Grana is now in Dunwoody.
The from-scratch kitchen recently opened at 1210 Ashford Crossing. An official opening date is unknown. Grana also has a location at 1835 Piedmont Ave. NE in Atlanta and is planning to launch a site in Roswell, per its website.
With roots in traditional Italian dishes, Grana's Executive Chef Pat Pascarella is from an immigrant family and has trained under James Beard Award-winning chefs throughout his culinary career, according to Grana.
Pascarella has owned restaurants in Connecticut, New York and Georgia.
"Grana, Chef Pat's latest culinary endeavor, is directly inspired by the robust southern Italian cooking of his family's matriarchs. It is in their honor that our menu is kept simple and classics are left untouched," read the Grana website.
Menu items include fritto misto, various meatball dishes, ricotta gnocchi, tagliatelle, piatti, wood roasted whole branzino, agnolotti and pizza options.
Hours of operation: 4-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday and 4-11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
