5 New Restaurants Open In Metro Atlanta

See what is on the menu at these new metro Atlanta eateries.

GEORGIA — From a trucker-inspired seafood eatery to a Mexican-influenced establishment, metro Atlanta has been dishing out eclectic menus in recent weeks.

Whether you have a sweet tooth or a knack for tasteful teas, these restaurants could serve what you may be craving.

It may not be sugar and spice, but Butter and Cream has opened in Norcross.

According to its website, the homemade ice cream eatery has found its sweet spot at 127 S. Peachtree St., Suite B.

Butter and Cream plans to melt the hearts of Duluth residents in 2024. Other locations include Decatur and Old Fourth Ward near the BeltLine.

"Locally crafted in small batches from real cream and only the freshest ingredients, we make ice cream the way it should be made. Our offerings have unique, modern twists yet are still reminiscent of the classic ice cream flavors we have grown up with. We make all of the inclusions in our ice cream including brownies, cookies, toffee and sauces," read the restaurant's website.

Butter and Cream offers flavors ranging from the cookie monster to the OG goodness to the honeycomb forest. Its menu also features the traditional offerings: classic chocolate, butter pecan and strawberry sorbet. Flavors are dependent on the location.

Shakes, slushies, floats and chocolate chip cookie sandwiches are available.

Hours of operation were not readily available.

Don't sleep, Buford! Snooze, an A.M. Eatery has come to the Mall of Georgia.

In continuing its run of new restaurants across metro Atlanta, Snooze recently opened at 2925 Buford Drive, Suite 1100.

The mall location adds to the breakfast eatery's roster, which also includes Cumberland, Alpharetta and Buckhead.

Snooze, an A.M. Eatery, promises to serve "breakfast but different," according to its website.

The restaurant offers an array of breakfast meals, ranging from the kale and avocado quinoa bowl to the blueberry danish pancakes to Juan's breakfast tacos. Huevos tostadas, the double bacon sandwich, maple and black pepper glazed bacon and the smashed avocado benny are also on the menu.

Hours of operation: 6:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. weekdays and 6:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday.

Alpharetta now has a taste for Boba tea with One Zo.

According to its Facebook page, One Zo had a soft opening this month at 5530 Windward Pkwy., Suite 320A.

With several locations across the U.S. since 2015, the Taiwanese bubble tea brand also has Georgia sites in Duluth and Buford.

"We are the first cafe in the world to make our own boba in-store. Our goals are to serve the freshest boba drinks to the world, to use our creativity to develop more new boba flavors and to promote the One Zo spirit - the pursue of excellence," the restaurant said on its website.

One Zo offers a variety of teas and milk teas. Other menu items and its hours of operation were not readily available for the Alpharetta location.

Buckhead has become host to Tulum Kitchen and Bar.

The new eatery promises to offer "Mexican resort-style dining" at 3167 Roswell Road.

"At Tulum, we have crafted an experience that transcends the ordinary, offering an exquisite fusion of cocktails and resort-style dining," the restaurant said on its website.

Menu items include pan-seared salmon, pan-seared birria beef dumplings, shrimp-crab jalapeno rolls, a Mexican caeser salad, rib eye steak, a variety of tacos and grilled branzino fish. Side dishes consist of patatas bravas, safron rice, grilled lemon broccolini and honey lime corn medallions.

According to its website, Tulum is now hiring.

Hours of operation: 5 p.m.-1 a.m. Tuesday-Thursday, 5 p.m.-2 a.m. Friday and Saturday and 5 p.m.-midnight Sunday.

Breaker, Breaker. Come in, Atlanta.

The Eastside BeltLine recently became home to new seafood restaurant Breaker Breaker. The establishment opened at 921 Wylie St.

“We didn’t have an initial concept in mind but recognized from the start that this was a special piece of property,” Grindhouse Killer Burgers co-owner Alex Brounstein said in a statement to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

“After many rounds of conversations, we landed on bringing the experience of sleepy Gulf coast dive bars to this pocket on the Beltline, creating a really relaxed and casual atmosphere for the neighborhood.”

Menu items include the dockside poutine, smoked Gulf fish dip, fried vegan calamari, cajun shrimp boil, cabbage and crispy rice salad, blackened grouper sandwich and the mushroom chopped cheese.

Hours of operation: 11:30 a.m.-10 p.m. Wednesday-Sunday.
