Another Chance to Host Annual Brunch for Special Needs Parents and Caregivers on May 16

For most families, Mother’s Day is filled with flowers, handwritten cards, and heartfelt expressions of gratitude. But for many parents of children with intellectual and physical disabilities, the holiday can bring a more complex mix of emotions—especially when their children are unable to communicate love and appreciation in traditional ways.

For more than a decade, that reality has inspired a powerful and compassionate response by two community advocates separately. However, this year, the Another Chance Empowerment Foundation, in collaboration with E.E.E. Marketing Group, is proud to present the 2026 Exceptional Parent Celebration Brunch—a one-of-a-kind event created to uplift and celebrate parents and caregivers in the disability community around Mother’s Day.

The free event will take place on Saturday, May 16, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 5301 Snapfinger Park Drive, Decatur, GA 30035.

Created by Norma Stanley, a nationally recognized disability advocate, author, and marketing entrepreneur and mother to a cognitively and physically disabled adult daughter, the Exceptional Parent Celebration Brunch has been an anticipated annual tradition in metro Atlanta around Mother’s Day for more than 10 years. Through her work with E.E.E. Marketing Group, Stanley has spent over 20 years creating products and programs where people with disabilities and their caregiving network—often overlooked and under-celebrated—can feel seen, valued, and supported.

“Parents of children with disabilities are some of the most resilient, resourceful, and loving individuals you will ever meet,” said Stanley. “This celebration is about pouring back into them—acknowledging their journey, their sacrifices, and their unwavering commitment to their children.”

This year’s event is further strengthened through its partnership with Another Chance Empowerment Foundation, an organization dedicated to fostering independence, dignity, and meaningful engagement for individuals with significant cognitive and medical disabilities. The foundation’s person-centered approach offers customized schedules, personalized instruction, and diverse activities designed to meet each individual’s unique needs—helping participants build confidence, independence, and a deeper sense of belonging.

Together, the two organizations represent a powerful alignment of purpose: supporting individuals with disabilities while also uplifting the families who care for and advocate for them every day.

The 2026 celebration will be co-hosted by Stanley and Dr. Dawn Anderson, publisher of Celebrity Boss Magazine and producer of the Celebrity Boss Cruise Experiences. Stanley will also serve as a featured speaker alongside financial services professional and entrepreneur, Jameel Muhammed of World System Builder.

Guests will also enjoy dynamic live performances by Singer, Nella-Joi and the Seasoned Sisters & Son: African Drum & Dance Group, creating an atmosphere of joy, culture, and community connection.
