Applebee's Restaurants in Metro Atlanta Welcome Guests Back with Grand Reopening Celebrations Across the City

Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill + Bar® is welcoming guests back to recently remodeled restaurants across metro Atlanta, following a significant investment in the brand’s long-standing presence in the market. The refreshed restaurants enhance the neighborhood gathering places where friends and families come together to enjoy great food, great drinks and memorable experiences.

As the birthplace of the first Applebee’s restaurant, which opened in Decatur in 1980, the Atlanta market holds a special place in Applebee’s history and continued growth. The latest remodels build on that legacy, reintroducing guests to refreshed neighborhood restaurants designed for today’s dining experience.

To celebrate the updated spaces, Applebee’s will host grand re-opening celebrations on Thursday, Sept. 17, from 3 to 5 p.m. at two locations: 2445 Mall Blvd. in Kennesaw and 1925 Scenic Hwy. in Snellville. Beginning at 3 p.m., the first 100 guests at each location will receive an exclusive punch card for free appetizers for a year.* At 4 p.m., local Applebee’s team members and community leaders will mark the restaurants’ fresh new look with an official ribbon-cutting ceremony. Guests can also enjoy music from a live DJ and giveaways throughout the celebration.

The remodeled restaurants feature upgraded booth and bar seating, vibrant murals inspired by the communities they serve and modern light fixtures, creating refreshed spaces designed for everything from everyday meals to celebrations with friends and family.

As part of the Welcome Back celebration, participating Applebee’s restaurants across metro Atlanta will also offer buy-one, get-one free appetizers** every Thursday from Sept. 17 to Nov. 19, giving guests even more reasons to reconnect at their neighborhood Applebee’s.
