ATLANTA, GA -- Mahoganey Jackson, an eighth-grade social studies teacher at Sylvan Hills Middle School, has been named the Atlanta Public School's 2017-18 Districtwide Teacher of the Year. Jackson was recognized Wednesday, Oct. 25 during the ApyeS! Awards ceremony held at the Woodruff Arts Center.
