ATL-Based Chick-fil-A Settles $4.4M Suit Over Inflated Delivery Fees
The chicken chain was accused of falsely advertising free or low-cost deliveries but raising its prices, a media report says.

ATLANTA, GA— Chick-fil-A, the popular chicken eatery based in Atlanta, has settled a $4.4 million class action lawsuit after being accused of falsely advertising free or low-cost delivery for its meals, according to media reports.
According to the legal-news site Top Class Actions, Eboni Brown, Tanique Clarke, Travis Johnson, Dominic Greetan, Friday Frazier and Keisha Rabon filed the suit against Chick-fil-A.
The chicken chain was accused of raising its prices of products used in deliveries, according to Top Class Action, which reported Chick-fil-A did not admit guilt.

Channel 2 Action News secured a copy of the lawsuit, which was filed on Oct. 3 in a Georgia federal court.
Customers who successfully file a claim can receive cash or gift card payments, Top Class Action reported.
