A Best Cities report ranked Atlanta No. 50 out of 100 best international cities to live, work, and invest in for 2023, noting the city's ambitious and historic qualities and making waves for the future. Atlanta is rated higher than other famous cities in the report, such as Miami, Denver, and Shanghai. (Atlanta Patch)
  2. Latto, a 23-year-old rapper from the Atlanta metro, is nominated for her first Grammy. The Clayton County native was nominated for Best New Artist and Melodic Rap Performance for her hit song "Big Energy." Atlanta natives Young Thug and Gunna are nominated for Best Rap Performance and Best Rap Song, although they remain in jail with RICO charges for connection to the Young Slime Life gang.   3. Investigative reporter Richard Belcher is retiring after working in the news business for 50 years. Belcher covered any topic you can think of – government corruption, trials, triple homicides, and drug raids – and helped create the investigative genre for Atlanta TV news.   4. One man was pronounced dead after losing control of his vehicle and colliding with the median on I-85 early yesterday morning. Police are unsure what caused him to lose control. All four lanes of traffic were closed for hours following the crash. (WSB Atlanta)
  5. An Atlanta-based company has launched a new platform that consolidates the charter bus marketplace into one place for consumers, corporations, and operators. Corporate Shuttles manages day-to-day transportation for employees and allows Fortune 500 companies to observe ridership data and live trip tracking while employees can find shuttle transportation information.   • Police are still looking for 20-year-old Joseph Duhon, who was last seen on the 1800 block of Willis Mill Road in Atlanta on Nov. 6. Duhon was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, and depression and may be off his medications. (WSB Radio)
