The Best Neapolitan Pizza in Atlanta !!

Get a taste of Italy at the newest Neapolitan Pizzeria in Atlanta located above Red-phone Booth Atlanta.

Amalfi Pizza, located at the Peachtree Street of Atlanta is famously known for its extremely delicious Neapolitan pizza. Baked using two wood-burning brick ovens weighing around 6000 pounds brought right from Italy, it’s technique is attributed to Greg Grant and Stephen de Haan. Furthermore, the eye-catching menu of Amalfi Pizza, comprising of all the traditional style Neapolitan pizzerias, salads, appetizers, calzones, pasta, Italian desserts and much more was gracefully composed by Greg Grant.
The qualified founders of Amalfi Pizza traveled to Naples where they got the opportunity to polish their culinary skills and acquire the art of pizza-making under the apprenticeship of the famous Italian pizza chefs of Pizzeria Da Attilio and Pizzeria Mattozzi. The essential training and comprehension of ultimate ingredients made both of them extremely passionate about their work and helped them to bring all the learned techniques and original tasty food recipes to Atlanta.

Location, Kitchen, and Atmosphere

Amalfi Pizza which is located near Peachtree Street behind Hooters. The big white board makes it very easy for the new customers to locate the place. As soon as we stepped in, it felt like a different world. The architecture and designing of the pizzeria was a reflection of culture and traditions of Italy. Amalfi Pizza is constructed in a way that you can enjoy the feel of open courtyard with a beautiful fountain and an entirely brick exterior.
Interestingly, they have an open kitchen upstairs which can be viewed easily from the distance. We were able to observe the skillful staff cooking, using a range of fresh ingredients and their very special two heavy wooden brick ovens.

Food
From their extensive menu offering a variety of appetizers, pizzas, and desserts, we selected deep fried Calamari Fritti which came with the yummy lemon aioli and Classic Marinara sauces, and Polpette(3-meat meatball) House which came with semi-soft and fresh mozzarella cheese, as appetizers.

For the main course, we ordered Margherita Pizza and the classic Neapolitan cheese pizza which is the specialty of Amalfi Pizza. All the things we ate were super delicious. The combination of fresh tomatoes and yummy mozzarella satisfied our taste buds and completely fulfilled our pizza cravings.
