The 39th Annual Out On Film Festival

The 39th annual Out On Film festival returns Sept. 24–Oct. 4 for its 39th annual LGBTQ+ film festival, featuring 155 films from around the world, including film premieres, documentaries, shorts, special events and panels.

Highlights include:

- Opening Film "Before I Do," a romantic comedy that asks, What if the life I’ve built isn’t the one I’m meant to live? Writer/director Gary Jaffe attending.

- #ATL highlights: World Premiere of Atlanta-made comedy “In Between,” written, directed and starring Nicholas Molencupp; trailblazing fashion designer doc “Love, Patrick: Nothing Is Impossible” (multiple award winner at Bronze Lens film fest; created and executive produced by radio/entertainment personality Ray Cornelius); and Local Shorts blocks

- Centerpiece film “Give Me The Ball!” provides an Intimate look at tennis/equal rights Icon Billie Jean King

- The highly-acclaimed “La Bola Negra” -- which follows three generations of men across pivotal moments in Spanish history, bound by pain, desire, and love -- closes the festival.

Also, this year’s festival includes work by Alan Cumming, Frances Fisher, Rachel Dratch, Michaela Jaé Rodriguez, as well as projects from Russell T Davies, Lilly Wachowski, and more.
