Celebration Of Life Planned For Rapper Takeoff In Atlanta

Tickets for the Celebration of Life for the late rapper Takeoff go on sale at 2 p.m. Tuesday.

ATLANTA, GA — Tickets for a Celebration of Life for Migos rapper Takeoff go on sale at 2 p.m. Tuesday on Ticketmaster.

Takeoff, whose real name is Kirsnik Khari Ball, died Nov. 1 during a shooting at a Houston bowling alley. According to multiple media reports, authorities do not believe he was the direct target.

Houston police are searching for witnesses in the shooting, according to CNN.

The Celebration of Life is being held at noon Friday at the State Farm Arena. Doors open at 11 am.

According to a notice from State Farm, free tickets are only available to Georgia residents and are non-transferrable. There is a two-ticket maximum.

There is a no photo, no video policy that will be in place, according to organizers. Gifts and flowers will not be accepted.
