A&A Insurance Agency Earns Make More Happen™ Award for Helping Young Athletes

Supporters Can Help Unlock a $10,000 Donation by Voting for Their Agency Giving Story

Liberty Mutual Insurance has awarded A&A Insurance Agency, Inc. a 2026 Make More Happen™ Award for its dedication to helping young athletes participate and thrive through its partnership with The Uniform Funding Foundation (TUFF). The award includes a $5,000 donation, which can be doubled to $10,000 through online community support.

Starting September 7, A&A Insurance Agency’s story will be featured on the official Make More Happen microsite, https://www.agentgiving.com/aa-insurance-agency, where supporters can vote to help unlock the full $10,000 donation. If the story receives at least 750 combined votes and comments, the $5,000 award will be doubled. The additional funding would help provide complete uniform packages for youth football and cheer programs and expand TUFF’s reach to additional underserved communities.

The Uniform Funding Foundation provides uniforms and equipment to underfunded youth athletic programs, helping boys and girls in soccer, basketball, football, track, and cheerleading participate and thrive regardless of their family’s financial situation. TUFF’s work helps make sports more inclusive, equitable, and meaningful for kids across the country.

That mission has long resonated with A&A Insurance Agency Principal Louie Abdou, whose agency has supported TUFF since 2019 through year-round fundraising and hands-on volunteer efforts. A&A Insurance Agency participates in multiple uniform donation events each year, helping deliver brand-new uniforms to young athletes who might otherwise have to compete in mismatched or worn gear.

“A&A Insurance Agency chose to support TUFF because we believe every child deserves the chance to play, compete, and belong,” said Louie Abdou, Principal of A&A Insurance Agency. “Sports teach discipline, teamwork, and resilience, but too many youth athletes are sidelined simply because they can’t afford a uniform. TUFF’s mission aligns directly with our commitment to strengthening the communities we serve.”

That commitment has created memorable moments throughout the partnership, including surprise deliveries that allow children to receive new uniforms without advance notice. One especially meaningful event came when the team helped deliver uniforms to a youth football program that had been practicing in mismatched gear. Watching the kids light up as they received uniforms with their names on them reminded the agency why this work matters.

For the A&A Insurance Agency team, supporting TUFF means helping ensure that financial hardship does not prevent young athletes from experiencing the confidence, pride, teamwork, and sense of belonging that come from participating in sports.

Throughout 2026, Liberty Mutual Insurance will select up to 36 independent agencies nationwide for a Make More Happen Award, donating up to $360,000 to nonprofits they support. Agencies become eligible for the award by submitting applications that highlight their commitment to a specific cause.
