Ex-Trump Attorney Kenneth Chesebro Pleads Guilty In RICO Case: Report
A media report says Kenneth Chesebro pleaded guilty to conspiracy to commit filing of false documents in GA's election subversion case.

ATLANTA, GA — Kenneth Chesebro, a former attorney to U.S. President Donald J. Trump, is the second of 19 defendants to plead guilty this week in the widespread election interference case in Fulton County, ABC News reported Friday.
Chesebro has agreed to testify in the case, during which Trump and 18 others have been accused of trying to overturn the 2020 Georgia presidential results, the outlet reported.
He was initially charged on suspicion of violation of the RICO Act, conspiracy to commit impersonating a public officer, two counts of first-degree conspiracy to commit forgery, conspiracy to commit false statements and writings and two counts of conspiracy to commit filing false documents. Chesebro's bond agreement was for $100,000, according to Fulton County jail records.

ABC News reported Chesebro "will plead guilty to a single felony charge of conspiracy to commit filing of false documents and receive five years' probation and a $5,000 fine, in exchange for agreeing to testify in the case."
Chesebro's plea deal comes a day after fellow ex-Trump attorney Sidney Powell pleaded guilty to a similar agreement. Powell has agreed to truthfully testify in the election subversion case, as well.

Both Powell and Chesebro had speedy trials that were set to begin Monday.
