Flash Flooding Expected Tuesday, Wednesday Across North GA
A flash flood watch is in effect for portions of north central Georgia through Wednesday afternoon from the remnants of Hurricane Ida.

GEORGIA — Hurricane Ida, which has been downgraded to a tropical storm, will dump rain across north central Georgia this week, the National Weather Service said.
A flash flood watch is in effect for portions of north central Georgia and west central Georgia through Wednesday afternoon.
Rainfall from Ida will spread over much of north and central Georgia Tuesday and into Wednesday. Three to five inches of rain is expected across the flash flood watch area with isolated higher amounts possible. As the remnants of Ida move through, additional bands of rainfall may cause storms through Wednesday that may lead to additional flash flooding concerns.
