Boy, 4, Dies In Atlanta Incident

Police responded to an unresponsive child call Monday at Renfrew Court, police said.

ATLANTA — A 4-year-old boy died of an unknown cause Monday at Renfrew Court, Atlanta Police said.

Police said officers responded around 9:30 a.m. to the 4100 block of Renfrew on an unresponsive child call. When they arrived, police said the boy was not alert or breathing.

Grady emergency medical personnel took the boy to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

The cause and manner of death is unclear, police said. An autopsy is being performed, police said.
