Hundreds Attend Anti-Deportation Rally; Four People Arrested

The rally began at the state capitol and then moved to a federal immigration office, with crowds blocking several streets.

Atlanta, GA -- An anti-deportation rally was held Monday in downtown Atlanta, and early reports are that four people were arrested during the demonstration.

Several people chained themselves to ladders and chairs on downtown streets, eventually resulting in police coming in with bolt cutters to remove them. One intersection was blocked for more than an hour, according to Channel 2 Action News.

The demonstrators were protesting last week's U.S. Supreme Court decision striking down President Obama's plan to shield millions of illegal immigrants from deportation.
