Jamie Foxx Breaks Silence After Hospitalization
The "Ray" actor said in an Instagram post he is "feeling blessed."
ATLANTA, GA — Actor Jamie Foxx has broken his silence since being hospitalized with an unknown medical emergency three weeks ago.
The "Day Shift" actor took to Instagram Wednesday to share a note to his supporters.
"Appreciate all the love!!! Feeling blessed," Foxx wrote.

Foxx was in Atlanta filming the Netflix feature "Back in Action," starring alongside Cameron Diaz. Foxx's daughter, Corinne, announced in an April 12 Instagram post that was attributed to the Foxx that her father suffered a medical complication.
The nature of Foxx's medical emergency has not been publicly disclosed.

Sources who spoke to TMZ Wednesday said their message was to "Pray for Jamie."
The outlet also reported that Nick Cannon will replace Foxx as host of "Beat Shazam," which airs on Fox.
Shortly after news broke of Foxx's hospitalization, filming for "Back in Action" was briefly shut down though Foxx's stand-in was used for filming at least one day during the production. Filming went on as planned about a week after Foxx entered the hospital, according to Variety.
According to IMDB, "Back in Action" is in post-production and has no set release date.
