Jurassic World: The Exhibition Reopens In Atlanta After Vandalism

The exhibit was vandalized in May, with damages totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars.

ATLANTA, GA — Jurassic World: The Exhibition reopened Wednesday at Pullman Yards after temporarily closing due to vandalism on May 29, operating companies Neon Global and Fever said in a news release.

The 22,000 square-foot interactive exhibit suffered damages totaling hundreds of thousands of dollars after Atlanta Police said four people entered the exhibit overnight and damaged multiple portions of it.

Police said Acauan Carvalho Van Deusen, 19, was charged on suspicion of burglary. Three other suspects remain at large.

“Thank you to the affected reservation holders for your flexibility in rebooking your visit, the Atlanta Police Department for your swift response and the City of Atlanta for your kind support,” Ron Tan, executive chairman and group CEO of Neon Global, said in a news release. "We are thrilled to welcome everyone back to Jurassic World: The Exhibition for a memorable experience all ages can enjoy.”

The exhibit, located at 225 Rogers St., features scenes inspired by the "Jurassic Park" film series and includes life-sized dinosaurs. Hours of operation are 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Find entry information here.
