Man Charged With Murder In Fatal Atlanta Shooting

A man died after being shot in the neck at Spring Street, police said.

ATLANTA — An 18-year-old man is facing a murder charge after being accused of shooting to death a 33-year-old man three months ago in the 700 block of Spring Street, Atlanta Police said.

The shooting happened around 2 a.m., Aug. 28, when police said they found the man with a gunshot wound to the neck. The shooting suspect fled from the scene before officers arrived, police said. A motive in the shooting is unknown.

Marion'Taye Holloman was arrested Saturday and charged on suspicion of murder, aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a person under 18 and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, police said.
