The Other Art Fair Makes Atlanta Debut With 100+ Independent Artists This October

A new art event is joining Atlanta’s busy fall cultural calendar this October, bringing more than 100 independent artists and more than 1,000 original works of art to Grant Park.

The Other Art Fair Atlanta, presented by Saatchi Art, will make its Atlanta debut Oct. 1–4 at Grant Park's Enspire Mercantile, 259 Milton Ave. SE, near the Atlanta BeltLine.

Unlike a traditional art fair built around galleries, The Other Art Fair puts independent artists directly in front of attendees, giving visitors an opportunity to meet the people who created the work, hear the stories behind it and purchase original pieces directly from them.

The inaugural Atlanta lineup will include artists from Metro Atlanta and across Georgia and the Southeast, along with national and international artists. Original artwork available at the fair will start at $100.

“We had an overwhelming response to our open call, and the caliber and diversity of talent coming to Atlanta is impressive,” said Nicole Garton, Global Fair Director of The Other Art Fair. “What sets us apart is our inverted, artist-first model. While traditional fairs center around galleries, we put artists at the forefront, giving attendees the opportunity to meet them in person and discover the stories behind their work.”

The Atlanta fair will also feature the organization’s New Futures program, which supports emerging artists by removing some of the financial barriers to exhibiting. One Atlanta-based artist will receive complimentary exhibition space and mentorship as part of the New Futures Class of 2026. The recipient will be announced soon.

Beyond the art, organizers are planning live DJ sets, site-specific installations, interactive pop-ups, food trucks and a bar with alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks.

The event begins Thursday, Oct. 1, with an Opening Night preview party from 6 to 10 p.m. Opening Night guests will get first access to the artists and artwork, and the first 500 attendees will receive a complimentary drink ticket. Opening Night admission also includes re-entry throughout the weekend.

The fair continues from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday, Oct. 2; 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3; and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4.

General admission tickets start at $20 in advance, while Opening Night tickets are $30 in advance. Premium collecting packages are also available, including options that come with art purchase credits and curator recommendations.

The Atlanta event marks the latest expansion of The Other Art Fair, which was created as an alternative to the traditional gallery-centered art fair model and connects independent artists directly with collectors and art lovers.

A preview collection featuring 30 works by 15 participating artists, including Georgia artists, is available through Saatchi Art. The complete roster of artists participating in the inaugural Atlanta fair will also be announced.
