Police Shoot Man At Atlanta Greyhound Station
The man was behaving erratically and harassing customers both inside and outside the bus station, according to investigators.

ATLANTA, GA — The Georgia Bureau of Investigation is looking into a shooting at the Greyhound station in downtown Atlanta, during which an off-duty Georgia State police officer shot a man who authorities say was behaving erratically.
According to the GBI, the officer was working off duty Monday as security at the bus station at 232 Forsyth St.
A man identified as William Savalas Davis, 38, was "acting erratically and harassing other patrons" both inside and outside the station, GSU Police told the GBI. The officer intervened and, according to police, Davis was not cooperative.

He struggled with the officer, who used pepper spray on him. But Davis kept fighting, according to authorities. At that point, the officer fired once, striking Davis who, even then, continued resisting both responding Atlanta Police officers and EMS technicians.

He was ultimately taken to Grady Memorial Hospital where he was listed in stable condition Tuesday, the GBI said.
No officers were injured in the scuffle.
In Georgia, a GBI investigation of officer-involved shootings is routine. The agency will conduct an independent investigation, then turn the case over to the Fulton County District Attorney's office for review.
