A U.S. District judge upheld an order that former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani must pay $148 million to two Georgia election workers.

WASHINGTON, D.C. — A verdict ordering former New York City mayor Rudy Giuliani to pay $148 million to two Fulton County election workers has been upheld, per a media report.
United States District Judge Beryl A. Howell denied on Monday Giuliani's appeal to the December 2023 verdict, Fox 5 Atlanta reported.
Giuliani reportedly accused the workers of fraud in the 2020 presidential election. The workers, Ruby Freeman and Shaye Moss, have sued Giuliani twice as they maintained he harassed them and spread "false speech."
