Fatal House Fire In Lake Villa Leaves 56-Year-Old Dead
Investigators right now have no reason to believe the fire was anything but accidental but they are looking into it.

LAKE VILLA, IL — A 56-year-old man is dead after his Lake Villa home burned down Tuesday morning, according to a press release from the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
Lake County Sheriff's Deputies and members of the Lake Villa Fire Protection District were on the scene early Tuesday morning, around 7:30 a.m. when they saw smoke coming from the northwest side of the residence in the 36900 block of North Corona Drive.
A preliminary investigation indicated that the fire is possibly accidental, and they currently have no reason to believe anything suspicious happened.

The deceased man will be autopsied Tuesday afternoon. Investigating the fire are the Lake Villa Fire Protection District, Illinois Office of the State Fire Marshal, and Lake County Coroner’s Office.
